Let’s talk about practicality. Wingman was purpose-built for pickup trucks, especially those designed for both work and leisure. While its current base is primarily tailored to suit cargo beds around 5 to 5.5 feet in length — the most common sizes in the market — we remain flexible in development and can adapt to other bed lengths upon request. Unlike RVs or trailers, Wingman doesn’t change the height or width of your vehicle when folded. Even though it lifts to nearly 2.6 meters when in use, it packs down flush with your truck roof, so:

• No garage access problems
• No bridge clearance issues
• No oversized vehicle restrictions

You get all the versatility of a pickup — and all the convenience of a mini camper.

What Trucks Are Compatible?

So far, Wingman has been successfully installed on a wide range of models:

• Mid-size pickups: Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, GMC Canyon, VW, etc.
• Full-size pickups: RAM 1500, Ford F-150, Toyota Tundra, GMC Sierra, etc.
• HD trucks: Though less common in our current setups, Wingman can be adapted for heavy-duty trucks.

Want to know if Wingman fits your truck? Just grab a measuring tape! If your bed width is between 1510mm to 1610mm, your truck is likely compatible. Length is less critical — it’s the inner width that determines the fit.
