1. Compatibility & Installation
Before heading out, ensure your rig is ready. The Wingman X is designed for non-destructive installation, meaning no drilling is required to preserve your truck's value
- Standard Mounting: Brackets are currently optimized for the Ford F-150 (5.5 ft), Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra, Toyota Tacoma, GMC Sierra, Jeep Gladiator, and Ford Ranger (5 ft).
- Weight Check: The unit weighs approximately 279 kg (615.1 lbs). Ensure your truck’s bed rails and suspension are rated for this payload.
- Power Connection: Connect the included vehicle power cable to your truck’s 12V system to fuel the automated lift and integrated electronics.

2. Setting Up Camp: The One-Touch Magic
Forget wrestling with fiberglass poles in the dark. The Wingman X uses a self-developed electric drive system with an X-scissor lift structure.
Deployment Steps:
- Level Your Vehicle: For the best sleep and structural integrity, park on level ground.
- Activate the Lift: Use the remote control or the dedicated app to initiate the lift.
- Automatic Expansion: The tent will fully deploy in approximately 60 seconds, reaching an internal height of 1.5m.
- Deploy Stabilizers: Once raised, set up the standard stabilizers to minimize vehicle sway while moving around inside.

3. Exploring Your Dual-Level Living Space
The Wingman X creates two distinct zones, maximizing every inch of your truck bed .
The Upper Deck (Sleeping Quarters)
- Dimensions: A spacious 2250 × 1460 mm (88.6 × 57.5 in) area.
- Comfort: Features a high-density foam mattress with a skin-friendly thermal cover.
- Sky View: Open the transparent skylight for 360° panoramic views and stargazing.
- Load Capacity: The upper deck supports a maximum load of 260 kg (approx. 573 lbs).

The Lower Level (Living Room)
- Headroom: Enjoy 1.5m of height, perfect for a mobile office, changing room, or lounge.
- Accessories: Utilize the integrated pegboard for gear storage and the bamboo folding table for meals or work.
- Rear Awning: The tail cover converts into a rear awning, extending your shaded living space.

4. Integrated Technology
Your Wingman X is a smart hub, not just a shelter.
- Lighting: Includes dual-level ambient glow and upper-level spotlights. Lower-level magnetic LED bars are detachable for flexible use.
- Audio: Sync your phone via Bluetooth 5.0 to the dual-level stereo speakers, controlled via the app or remote.

5. Weather Resistance & Safety
While the Wingman X is rugged, nature has its limits. Always prioritize safety in extreme conditions.
Wind Resistance
- Closed: Maintains the same wind resistance as your vehicle.
- Deployed (No Awning): Withstands up to Level 6 winds (11-14 m/s).
- Deployed (With Awning/Ropes): Withstands up to Level 4 winds (6-8 m/s).

Water Resistance
Outer Layer: 100% waterproof with fully taped seams
Truck Bed Note: Because the connection to the truck bed is not fully sealed, it is not 100% waterproof. Light seepage may occur in the bed during heavy rain or snow.
- Pro Tip: Avoid storing moisture-sensitive gear directly on the truck bed floor during storms; use a rain cover or waterproof bins.

6. Maintenance Tips
- Storage: Never pack the tent away while it is soaking wet. If you must move in the rain, deploy the tent as soon as you reach a dry area to let it air out and prevent mold.
- Cleaning: Use mild soap and water for the canvas. Avoid harsh chemicals that could strip the waterproof coating.
- Power: Periodically check the vehicle power cable and remote battery to ensure the "one-touch" system is always ready for your next escape.
